I rented in Dorchester for a couple of years before I purchased my first piece of real estate. I think that was a good move in order to truly learn the area and then figure out where in Dorchester I was going to want to live. So that helped out a lot.

But the one thing that I wish was different was I wish I had purchased a home sooner than I did. That could have helped me to get into a home quicker as well as to not be wasting my money by giving it to someone else and not paying down a mortgage with it.
